Pre-contractual information under EU Data Act

To protect users rights and interest, as well as to fulfil the obligation under Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2023 on harmonised rules on fair access to and use of data and amending Regulation (EU) 2017/2394 and Directive (EU) 2020/1828 (“Data Act”), Sharp Consumer Electronics Poland sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Ostaszewo (Poland), address Ostaszewo 57B, 87-148 Łysomice, registered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court in Toruń, VII Economic Division of the National Court Register, under KRS no. 0000255768, REGON: 340166160, NIP: 8792481113 (“Sharp”) publishes the necessary pre-contractual information regarding data generated by Sharp’s connected products (“Data”) and related services (“Services”) for which Sharp acts as the manufacturer or service provider.

This notice must be read in conjunction with, and is without prejudice to, the applicable data privacy policy (https://www.sharpconsumer.com/privacy-policies/), which shall prevail in matters concerning personal data.

Data generated by our products and services

Sharp is committed to ensuring that any Data generated by our connected products and related Services is used fairly, lawfully, and securely.

This notice informs users about the types of Data generated by the products we sell and the Services we provide. Where Sharp is the data holder under the Data Act for Data generated by our Products or Services, we will also explain how users can access the Data and where to direct complaints. You will also find contact information for any questions related to Data handling.

Related Services may be provided in connection with the connected products and may generate or access some or all the products Data. If Sharp is not the provider of such related Services, the relevant provider is responsible for delivering a similar notice containing pre-contractual information about the data generated by those third-party services.

Sharp is the initial seller of the connected product. If the product is (re)sold, leased, or rented, each reseller, sub-lessor, or sub-renter must comply with the pre-contractual information obligations outlined in Article 3(2) of the Data Act.
